Thanks to some ‘Lockdown Rummaging’ the following list of newly found memorabilia has been added to the Website.
As with earlier additions and updates you will find these highlighted by a ‘NEW’ icon in the website
These latest additions to the website include a number of both Guardian and Walthamstow Independent Newspaper Reports on plays and the school, some photographs of former members and the 2015 Re-Union, a report about Mr Smith in his post- Markhouse days and even a Marsh Street Youth Centre Membership Card from 1976 – showing an amazing value for money annual cost!
A new batch of memorabilia has now been added to the Website, although relatively small in comparison with the number and range of items that have been added over the past year.
Several items cover 2 previously unreported plays (The Saloon Bar & Dick Whittington) and the Drama Club’s entries in the Essex Drama Festival; also a further record on the Walthamstow Youth Speaks Competitions.
A range of newly found memorabilia including reports on ‘The Happiest Days of Your Life’, ‘Pearly Pearls’ and ‘Man Alive’ – plus another Essex Drama Festival and 2 more plays added to the productions list and Markhouse Class and Sports Team photographs
