This Website is dedicated to Cyril Malyon who ran the Markhouse Drama Club in Walthamstow between 1955 - 1977; also to Richard (Dickie) Dunn - former member, musician, music teacher, good friend and our original archivist who maintained the links between everyone, from the closure of the Drama Club until his untimely loss in 2014

Cathode Elysium Lights was another ‘member led’ initiative that widened the range of the Drama Club’s activities and took those involved, and their ‘special effects’, into the wider world of mainstream pop and rock music!
