Daylight Robbery
Not quite on the scale of ‘Grand Theft Auto’ – but this film tells the the tale of a desperate teenage gang of car thieves taking advantage of local car owners parking in the roads around Hoe Street , Walthamstow – all made much worse by their audacity to even set up their ‘Used Car Sales Lot’ in the same area – in the car-park just off Queens Road!
Subsequent investigations even suggested that some of the victims unwittingly bought back their own, repainted cars, from what became known as the ‘Walthamstow MotorCADE Gang’.
